Our 2022 tournament was (as usual) over in a heartbeat. We got lucky with the weather again , and I have to say this year was possibly the best weather yet - 4 glorious days of 19-24deg and 0 wind - amazing to say the least.
Our winner this year has returned for his third appearance. His first year was soured by injuring his back and missing the 2nd and 3rd days and lasty year he played like Tiger Woods - 2 weeks after his car accident! Since the end of last years tournament, Dan has become a memeber at Nudgee Golf Club and has been playing at least once a week. Needless to say his golf has improved dramatically. He played very well this year and earned his name on the back of our jacket for the first time.

A quick summary of the 4 days...
Mark made a blistering campaign opening score of -12, then Train wrecked each day after leaving him in 12th place. TJ also started strong with a -7 start then played 'whack-Fuck' for the rest of the week. Pilat started with -4, then fumbled to a +16, then Ev and finished with a -5 to steal 3rd place from Boydo who gradually worsened his days with Ev, +3, +7 and +7 to finish =4th with Frankie. He played +4, +8, +6 but came home with a great -4 on the last day. Dave was very consistent with his scoring - +6, +3, +6 and +5 to finish 7th. Gazzzz was a little too loose to contend for the podium places, as were Humpy, Mus and last years Champion Sparky. Jump over to our results page to see all the scores and finishing places.

2022 was a luxury course year. We played Coolangatte Tweed Heads, Palmer Colonial, Royal Pines and Lakelands. All great courses and well organised except for Palmer Colonial - Unfortunately Clive has let that place go like a woman who just put on a wedding ring! Shame Clive, Shame! What a great year though!!
